Estonian railway passenger operator Elron transported over 390 000 passengers in February, 40% more than the same month last year, while ticket revenues totaled EUR 640,000 euros, which is 45% more than the same month in 2013.
“Elron’s February results were very good and exceeded expectations,” said Elron Chairman of the Board, Andrus Ossip. “On almost all of the routes the number of passengers increased compared to both January and February last year. In particular, a rapid growth in the number of passengers was registered on Tartu and Turku express lines”.
