“Particular attention was given to the delivery of seven-car electric trains for interregional lines,” the specialists noted. In line with the additional agreement, two such trains should be delivered to Belarus in 2015. “They have a number of advantages which will guarantee passengers’ comfort during long-term travels,” the specialists underlined. The cars in these trains will be spacious (the width of the body is 3,480mm) and will be equipped with comfortable adjustable seats. Each train will also feature a buffet car. Moreover, the trains will be equipped with five toilet facilities, including one for people with disabilities. One of the cars will have a multifunctional zone for the disabled and passengers with baby carriages and bicycles. First and second class compartments will appear in these seven-car trains, too. Some 16 places will be allocated for the first class in a separate enhanced-comfort zone in one of the front cars.
