Afghanistan Railway Authority looking for companies interested to operate, maintain and manage Hairatan to Mazar-e Sharif railway line

The Afghanistan Railway Authority (AfRA) has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from well established, reputable, reliable and capable railway companies interested in a performance based contracts for the operation, maintenance and management of Hairatan to Mazar-e-Sharif Railway Line. The deadline for submitting EOIs is the 15th of November. 

The  EOI is a first step of a possible bidding process that will ultimately result in the Operation, Maintenance and Management of the 75 km single line between Hairatan at the border with Uzbekistan and Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan. The 1520mm line went into operation in December 2011.
