Azerbaijan Railways, Siemens agree to expand cooperation 

Azerbaijan Railways and Siemens have agreed to expand strategic cooperation, during a meeting organised on the 20th of July. Javid Gurbanov, General Manager of Azerbaijan Railways presented to the German delegation led by William Wilson, ‎Siemens Head of Sales,  the reforms implemented by the company and the works carried out for realization of “East-West” and “North-South” international transport corridors.

Siemens, AZƏRSIS-Baku and SIS-Minsk companies organised for Azerbaijan Railways a one-day seminar on the installation of signaling and control systems

Azerbaijan Railways and Siemens have previously cooperated for the installation of fibre-optic communications system on the 600 km long Baku-Boyuk Kesik railway section in 2001-2003.
