CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles and TÜV SÜD to cooperate

TÜV SÜD Rail GmbH has signed a cooperation agreement with CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co. Ltd. (CRC). TÜV SÜD will support CRRC Changchun in the supply of national and international rolling stock services. The cooperation is mainly aimed at supporting CRRC Changchun in type testing, assessment and certification of railway vehicles as well as trainings for rolling stock. Furthermore TÜV SÜD supports CRRC Changchun in national and international projects.

CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co. Ltd. is a professional R&D and manufacturing of railway vehicle enterprise. The company was founded in 1954 as Changchun Car Company and was restructured into the joint-stock company CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., LTD. in 2002. CRRC Changchun is mainly engaged in development, production and maintenance of high-speed EMU, mainline passenger vehicles, urban mass transit vehicles and other products, focusing on railway vehicles. Its products are sold to more than 20 countries and regions in the world. The company has more than 18,000 employees and a total factory area of 6,23 million m².
