First Pesa diesel train arrives in Belarus

First Pesa three-car diesel trains arrived today in Belarus. After customs clearance, the  train will be run for acceptance and certification tests. It will be put into operation by Belarusian Railway

The train is designed to carry passengers in interregional transportation. The train is assembled in Poland and it will undergo starting-up and adjustment operations.

dp3_1_pesa_belarusIn line with the contract signed by the Mogilev branch of Belarusian Railway and PESA Bydgoszcz in 2013 the Belarusian railroad operator will get a total of three three-car diesel trains. The next two units will be delivered in March/April this year.

With the designed speed of 140kmph, the 69.3-meter-long train can seat 145 passengers.
