Trans Caucasus Terminals, a subsidiary of Georgian Railway and Turkish LAM Group of Shipping Companies have signed a memorandum of understating on cooperation in the field of transport, aiming to connect Georgia to the world trade routes.

„We are proud that Trans Caucasus Terminals has become a member of Trans Caspian Consortium. The consortium provides sea container transport from China to Georgia and further to other destinations. Besides our company, the consortium also includes companies from China, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. We hope LAM group will be one of the companies to ensure marine services at the Black Sea in the direction of Turkey and other countries to ensure transportation of freight to any destinations worldwide”, said Levan Sulaberidze, Trans Caucasus Terminals director.

Georgian Railway owns a 100% stake in Trans Caucasus Terminals. The company was established in 2009 to develop and manage the container terminals in Tbilisi and Poti.
