Hungarian State Railways (MÁV), MÁV-START, regional railway operator Györ-Sopron-Ebenfurth Railway (GySEV) and Google Hungary are collaborating on adding ninety railway lines and 1,200 stations to Google Maps. In addition, the timetables of the railway passenger operators will be accessible through the well-known web mapping service.
Considering that more than a billion people use Google Maps monthly, and many of them are searching for public transport information, Google aims to provide more comprehensive and accurate information to support users in orientation.
