Italy to sell 60% stake in Grandi Stationi Spa

Italy will sell its stake in Grandi Stazioni Spa, the manager of Italy’s largest railway stations. Grandi Stazioni is 60% owned by Ferrovie dello Stato and 40% by Eurostazioni Spa in partnership with Edizione Srl (Benetton Group), Vianini Lavori Spa (Caltagirone Group), Pirelli & C. Spa (Pirelli Group) and SNCF Participation S.A. (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer).

The company is in charge with enhancing and managing the network of the 13 main Italian train stations: Milano Centrale, Torino Porta Nuova, Genova Brignole and Genova Piazza Principe, Venezia Mestre e Venezia S. Lucia, Verona Porta Nuova, Bologna Centrale, Firenze S. Maria Novella, Roma Termini, Napoli Centrale, Bari Centrale, Palermo Centrale.
