Moscow Metro to invest RUB 3 million in modernising pedestrian walkways and station lobbies

Moscow Metro will invest RUB 3 million in modernising underground pedestrian walkways and lobbies in 96 stations. The tender is to be announced in July 2014.

During the four stages modernisation process, stations will equipped tactile paving for the visually impaired, new fire exit doors, information signs, kiosks etc. 

The first stage includes modernisation works in 20 stations, among  which Volokolamskaya, Delovoi Center, Alma – Altinskaya and Zhulebino.
