MPK – Lodz launches tender for the acquisition of 22 new low-floor tramways

MPK – Lodz launched a tender for the acquisition of 22 new 100% low-floor tramways, with a length of 32 m and a capacity of minimum 200 passengers (-10%). According to Zbigniew Papierski, President of MPK, the company is currently trying to obtain funding from the EU Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme.  

The delivery of the rolling stock is expected by the end of October 2015. All trams offered must be of the same type, length, constructed according to the same technical documentation, by the same manufacturer and in compliance with the description of the order explained  in the Terms of Reference. The deadline for expressions of interest is June 24.
