OBB orders nine more Railjet train sets for EUR 145 million

ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, Austria’s largest mobility service provider, exercised the option in its 67 Railjet train sets contract with Siemens for a further 9 units.

The total value of the contract is EUR 145 million, consisting of the rolling stock base price  of EUR 117 million and additional options requested by ÖBB (WLAN, adjustable seats, ecopaket, Italian standards).

ÖBB fleet includes 51 Railjet long-distance trains.
