PKP S.A. wants to once again develop the property in cooperation with the selected private investor. One of this year’s projects concerns land at Bosacka Street in Cracow. The value of the investment can exceed PLN 200 M. The investor search process for this project started in December 2013. The land designated for development covers 1.4 hectares within the city center, next to the new railway station Kraków Główny. Thanks to the attractive property location the chosen investor will have a chance to utilize the potential intense travelers traffic next to the communication hub. The project will include the implementation of a modern office and hotel buildings with retail and services. The final development of the site will be dependent on the concepts presented by the potential investors. The investment project also involves the revitalization of some historic buildings located within the site, and it is expected to meet not only functional but also esthetical standards. Until the end of February, investors can collect the Information Memorandum, based on which they will submit their offers of cooperation with PKP S.A. Upon receipt of the development concepts, PKP S.A. will start negotiations with selected bidders in order to select the final investor. The planned investment at Bosacka Street is next project carried out by PKP S.A. in collaboration with the commercial developer. The company has already worked with investors in a similar formula in order to develop projects in Katowice and Poznan, where in addition to modern and functional railway station, the shopping centers were built. Also the construction of the new railway station Warszawa Zachodnia as well as the project of Warszawa Gdańska including the new railway station with adjacent commercial buildings are conducted using this formula. There are also other projects in the pipeline i.e. development of the land located next to the Świebodzki railway station in Wroclaw and so called Międzytorze in Gdynia.
