The reconstruction works of  Rijeka – Brajdica cargo railway station project, part of Rijeka Gateway II, are estimated at EUR 24 million. The facility is currently considered a bottleneck for Rijeka container transport.

Rijeka Port Authority, HŽ Infrastruktura and Jadranska Vrata (Adriatic Gate Container Terminal) are the organisations investing in developing Brajdica Container Terminal.
