Romania: CFR to rehabilitate railway bridge over Olt river in a EUR 9.7 million project

The Romanian ministry of transport drafted a government order approving a RON 43 million (EUR 9,7 million) investment for the rehabilitation of a 379 m railway bridge over Olt river. 

“Bridge Km 197 + 557, Line 101 cf Chitila – Craiova, between stations and Piatra Olt Slatina” project works will focus on the rehabilitation of both the superstructure and substructure of the bridge. 

The project is co-financed by the the European Union’s Regional Development Fund and the state budget, though the Minister of Transport.
