JSC “Russian Railways” Board of Directors, in accordance with the directives of the Government of the Russian Federation, approved the sale of 25% stake in Aeroexprss LLC.
Aeroexpress open joint stock company is the sole operator in Russia of city rail links to the airports of Moscow, Vladivostok, Sochi and the Tatarstan republic’s capital, Kazan. Revenue for 2012 was 4.4 billion rubles, with net profit at 441.6 million rubles.
A 50% stake in the company belongs to JSC Russian Railways, another 25% belongs to Delta-Trans-Invest, 17.5% is owned by ethnic Uzbek businessman Iskander Mahmudov and 7.5% by billionaire Andrei Bokaryov.
