RZD International and Bombardier Transportation to jointly implement international rail infrastructure projects

Russian Railways’ (RZD) international subsidiary RZD International and Bombardier Transportation Sweden AB have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on close cooperation for the development and implementation of innovative approaches to international railway infrastructure projects. 

The MoU provides the parties with the possibility of joining efforts in promoting new projects of railway construction and modernization of the existing railway lines in foreign countries. The companies plan to exchange their own technologies and experience in the sphere of railway and infrastructure construction, including transfer and implementation of innovative technologies, equipment and materials, as well as sharing experience in the field of railway construction and management.

The document was signed by the General Director of RZD International, Sergey Pavlov and by the President of Bombardier Transportation Sweden, Laurent Troger, in the framework of the XI International Rail Business Forum “Strategic Partnership 1520” in Sochi.
