Serbia: Construction works for Zezeljev bridge resumed

Serbian Railways and the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure signed an agreement with the Spanish-Italian consortium Azvi – Taddei-Horta Coslada for resuming the construction works of Žeželj Bridge in Novi SadThe contractor has 17 months to finish the project.  

Project costs have risen by EUR 2.9 million, from the initial total contract value of EUR 45.3 milllion. The construction of the new bridge steel structure is financed under non-refundable IPA fund in the amount of EUR 26,2 million. The Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the City of Novi Sad invested EUR 19,1 million in the dismantling of temporary bridge and installation of the new bridge.
