Siemens-Termotron JV targets equipment contract for HSL Moscow-Kazan construction project

Termotron Rail Automation company, a joint venture of  Siemens and Russian company Termotron-Zavod, targets contract for the supply of equipment for Moscow – Kazan high-speed rail. The Bryansk based company will start producing point machines based on Siemens technology.

In February 2015, Siemens and Russian company Termotron- Zavod have established a joint venture with the aim of combining the experience and solutions of German the company with the technologies of the Russian manufacturer in the field of rail automation.

The new company, Termotron Rail Automation specialises in the development, implementation and production of signaling systems and components for 1520 area railways. The financial aspects of the transaction were not disclosed.
