SNCF has awarded Faiveley Transport Group an industrial “Trophée de l’Excellence” in the “Parts and Services”

SNCF has awarded Faiveley Transport Group an industrial “Trophée de l’Excellence” in the “Parts and Services” category at the 3rd edition of its rolling stock supplier’s convention.

In order to measure the quality of its supplier’s services, SNCF has established a long term assessment process. Thus, SNCF group has created in 2012 the “Trophées de l’Excellence” reflecting its rolling stock supplier’s industrial excellence and acknowledging the achievement or even overachievement of the SNCF expectations.

“We are very honored to receive this award, which recognizes years of efforts and intense collaboration with SNCF,”says Lilian Leroux, Executive Director of the Brakes & Safety Activity of Faiveley Transport Group. “Improving the performance of Faiveley Transport is the result of common work and real-time information sharing with SNCF. We have kept our teams mobilized and we have, with SNCF, implemented monitoring tools of industrial performance to improve significantly our quality of service. “

According toSébastien Laurent, SNCF rolling stock Purchasing Director : “Our strategy to drive our supplier’s performance, as well as the establishment of a key account relationship, have been key success factors. This contributed to improve the performance of many suppliers and more widely of the sector. There is still much to do, but Faiveley Transport has fully assisted us in our endeavour and has been one of our successes”

« Trophées de l’Excellence » 2014 were awarded at the end of the 3rd edition of SCNF rolling stock supplier’s convention, focused on expected industrial performance, capacity for innovation both on industrial and customers aspects, and synergies between the SNCF and its suppliers.
