Tver Carriage Works’ new low-floor tramway starts certification trials

Tver Carriage Works (TVZ) will carry out certification testing on the 71-911 type low-floor tramway in Moscow for the next two months. The tramway was developed by the company PK Transport Systems. 

According to Felix Vinokur, General Manager of PK Transport Systems the tramway is equipped with a patented suspension system, energy storage system (it can operate for 1km without power from the overhead lines), diagnostic and control system, two independent climate control system etc.

Built on the modularity principle, the tramway can be produced in different configurations.
