Two consortia have expressed interest in building Russia’s high-speed line Moscow – Kazan. The first is formed by Transmashholding and Bouygues Construction (France) and the second by Sinara Group and Siemens, informs Vedomosti.
The representatives of JSC “High-Speed Rail Lines” confirmed that the company is in talks with several companies for the conclusion of concession agreements, but did not name them. The names of bidders to participate in the concessions will be known after March 3-5, after the final meetings with the investors. Terms of concessions also were not disclosed.
RZD plans Concession Agreements for three sections: Vladimir – Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod – Cheboksary and Cheboksary – Kazan.
