Warsaw Metro announces concept design tender for next Line II stations

i_ii_iii_linia_33-1925d17eWarsaw Metro has announced a tender for the concept architectural design and construction of the next section of Line II towards Bemowo district. The 4 km long route will include three metro stations and a depot/technical station (STP Mory). The last stations of the western section will be ready in 2023.

The planned stations include Lazurowa (C03), Chrzanów (Co2) and Połczyńska (Co3).  STP Mory will function as rolling stock depot and maintenance workshop, including warehouses and technical facilities, spreading on 26 hectares. 

The deadline for submitting offers is the 21st of December 2016. The winner will be awarded a PLN 50,000 prize (EUR 11600) and will be invited to negotiate the contract under the single-source procurement tender procedure.
